(Posted 5/31/2019)

Yuba County Sheriff’s Detectives have made three arrests in the Hwy 70 Shooting in Plumas Lake, which occurred on 5/22/19 at approximately 6:00 p.m., that left one Sacramento man dead and another injured. Over the course of the last week, investigators were able to track the suspect vehicle in over two dozen business security videos leading approximately 30 miles through the three counties of Yuba, Sutter and Butte which were along the suspects travel route prior to the shooting. With the multijurisdictional business community assistance, detectives were able to generate suspect leads that ultimately resulted in the identification and successful arrest of the three currently in custody for the homicide. At approximately 8:30 a.m. 5/30/19, Yuba County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the Net-5 Task Force served a search warrant at a residence on Pinewood Wy in Linda, where the first two suspects were taken into custody.
