Two Suspects Arrested in Olivehurst Marijuana Robbery

Two men have been arrested in connection with a marijuana robbery that occurred in Olivehurst last month, Yuba County Sheriff Steve Durfor said today.
 
The Sheriff’s Department received a report of a home invasion robbery that occurred on March 25 at about 11 PM. During the robbery, a man forced his way into the victim’s home on Martel Drive in Olivehurst. The man struck the victim on the head with the victim’s own rifle before stealing another gun and a large quantity of medical marijuana.
 
The suspect who entered the home was identified by detectives during their investigation as Troy Sherman, 23, of Linda. His accomplice, who waited in the car during the robbery, was identified as 23 year old Paul Knoth of Oroville.
 

Sherman was arrested Monday afternoon at the Sheriff’s Office. He was booked in the Yuba County Jail on charges of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Knoth was arrested Tuesday at the Sheriff’s Office for robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, and conspiracy.
