A Linda man was arrested today for stabbing his stepfather at their home, Yuba County Sheriff Steve Durfor said today.

 

Ocie Johnson, 25, was arrested at about 12:30 this afternoon at his apartment complex on Country Club Court. Johnson’s mother called the Sheriff’s Department after Ocie reportedly stabbed her husband once in the upper back. The 42 year old victim and his wife were watching television when Ocie allegedly entered the room and assaulted his stepfather. Ocie’s brother restrained him and removed him from the apartment, where he was detained by deputies arriving at scene.

 

Ocie was arrested and booked into the Yuba County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. The victim was transported to Rideout Hospital. His injuries were reportedly not life-threatening.
