Victim: Francisco Cisneros, 57, Western Avenue Olivehurst, CA
Summary: On 10-13-13 at about 8:30 pm, the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department received a call regarding an apparent robbery. Deputies responded to an address on Western Ave., in Olivehurst and learned that the victim had been attacked by three Hispanic males.
The victim said he had been away from his residence and upon his return he went to the backyard to enter from the back door. As he reached the back door he was struck with what he described as a handgun and rendered unconscious. The victim’s hands and feet were bound and he was blindfolded and dragged into the residence. The victim awoke some time later and the unknown assailants were gone. He was assisted by a friend who had come to the residence to visit. The victim was transported to Rideout Hospital and was admitted.
It is unknown what (if anything) was taken from the residence; however, investigators learned that the victim had a marijuana grow at the residence. The investigation is on-going and anyone with information is asked to contact the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department at 530-749-7777.
